MUSICAL DIRECTOR
NICK DREW
Nick joined One Acchord as Musical Director in January 2009 and is still here - he must like us!
When not acting as Musical Director for One Acchord Nick also sings Barbershop with Rolling Hills Chorus and also competes as part of a quartet.
We are always amazed when Nick demonstrates each part - especially the high Tenor line!
LEADS
BARITONES
The Baris sing approximately the same range as the leads. The baritone harmony notes cross the lead notes, sometimes sung below and sometimes above.
TENORS
Tenors harmonise above the lead and should complement but not overpower the lead with a light, sweet, pure tinkling tone. The tenor range is from G above middle C to high F on the top line of the clef.
BASS
Bass singers sing the lowest harmonising notes and should be able to easily sing the E flat below middle C to the G above middle C.
Basses create a rich mellow tone which creates a solid foundation for the four part harmony chord.
